Big Tree Cottage is a cosy cottage sitting in a lovely garden with 100 metres of river frontage to the Steavenson River, and a gentle 200 metre walk to the Meeting of the waters where the Steavenson meets the Little Steavenson and Acheron rivers.
 
There is a lounge room with dining area, kitchen, bathroom with separate toilet, laundry and one bedroom downstairs and there is 1 bedroon & a loft upstairs. The spacious lounge room has wood heater, split system heating and cooling, and ceiling fan. TV/DVD/Video & record, cassette, CD player. There is a double sofabed there too The kitchen has an electric stove with oven, microwave, fridge and other appliances - and there is a barbeque just outside.
 
The bathroom has a separate toilet. The laundry has washing machine, iron and ironing board.
 
Bedroom 1 is downstairs and has 1 Queen size b ed;
Bedroom 2 is upstairs and has one Queen size bed, a heater for chilly mornings and a ceiling fan; and
The loft area is also upstairs and has 2 single beds, a heater for chilly mornings, ceiling fan. lt also has a television and DVD player and balcony to sit and admire the river from.
 
All beds have duvets, pillows and electric blankets, spare blankets in the cupboards and beautiful views of trees from each window.
